Traumatic brain injury is a serious issue and one that unfortunately affects so many people. I am hopeful that, by opening up about the details of my injury and recovery, I'm able to shed some light and awareness and let others know they're not alone.

This is a story that initially stemmed out of pure curiosity. Growing up in the Bay Area, every time I would cross the Golden Gate Bridge as a child I remember being struck by how stunningly beautiful it was and how peaceful the San Francisco skyline looked in the distance.
